Walking in circles

Lucinda was walking in circles, She hasn't meet anyone, no one, she walked in circles looking up at the sky spinning in circles because she loved looking up at the clouds.

She felt as the sky was getting darker and darker until the courtyard turned black.

Riley was out and about taking a leisurely stroll through the campus when she came upon a new student quite familiar.

What!? Lucy!? She asked herself and hurled towards her.

"LUCINDA!!" She squealed barreling onto the girl like a semi.

"I thought i'd never see you again." She exclaimed running her fingers through her beloved sister's hair.

"Riley!" She said hugging her sister "How are you?"

She was so happy to see her sister, she's been so distant from her and her family living far away in New York City.

"I've been great." She said clinging to the girl like a leach.

Riley remembered Josh's stories about their mother. Snotty and rude, living in the open range on the far end of New York.. With Riley's only sister.

I won't get into that, i'll just catch up with her. She told herself.

"So," She replied "Any Boy I should know about?"

She's always getting into people's business, she always has, always will.

Riley froze.

Logan.. She thought.

"Well.." She began, twirling her finger in her long brown hair.

"There is one. Logan Ragan... He's quite.. charming." She said with a wink.

"Logan," Lucinda replied. "What happen to James?"

Josh had told Lucinda that Riley had a boyfriend named James.

But Lucinda hadn't heard anything about their relationship, since she was cut-off from her sister, and that was so long ago.

"We broke up." She said simply.

"He told me he was a follower of Voldemort. And you do remember the pact? Don't you?" She asked raising her right hand with had a hardly visible scar across her palm.

"No dating evil maniacs." She reminded her sister.

"Ok," She lied smoothly. "So any guy I would be interested in?"

She likes the mysterious guys. Her last 2 boyfriends were mysterious.

"Ha, Have you met these guys? They're all interesting. But girl, I think you'd be a good match for Christopher."

Riley said simply, adding a tinge of laughter to her words.

"Chris who?" She asked.

"Omri. Duh." Riley said rolling her eyes.

"I'd take you to meet him but I can't find him anywhere. I still have to prank him."

Riley remembered the spider in the bag she'd had ready for him.

It probably died already. Fail.

Victoria bounced into the courtyard.

"Hi! Oh, hi to you too!" she grinned to the girl standing by Riley.

"I-am-Victoria-Birmingham-and-you-are?" Victoria said, still bouncing.

"I'm Lucinda." She replied waving "Her sister."

Victoria giggled. "Spitting image!"

"Yep. We're twins."

Riley had mentioned it previously, but she didn't think anyone was listening.

"Yep!" She said giving a small grin

"I was actually going to the salon to re-dye my hair." She said scratching her scalp.

"Oooohh... What color?"

Riley asked staring at the tangled mess of rainbow on her sister's head.

"Probably yours but with a red streak." She said getting excited.

Riley raised an eyebrow.

"That sound epic!"

She replied slightly smirking.

"Yeah," She said "I could hide it in our out!"

She started to tap her toe because she needed to get to the lake.

Riley nodded, not really listening at all.

"You alright?" She asked, averting her attention to the foot-tapping of her sister.
