Potions: Lesson One: ALL AGES

Justin touched his clan tattoo across his face, reminded, briefly of when he was younger, and lived in the forest, but then these thoughts scattered as he heard many footsteps, and new and old faces flooded into his classroom.

Here we go again....Deja Vu.

"We're making Strengthening Solutions today."

He told them, looking around, his face inquiring if any of them knew anything, something, about the potion.

"I'm not positive but...I do believe, the Strengthening Solution is a potion that presumably increases the drinker's strength. It is brewed in at least two stages, requiring several days to mature in between, and two of the ingredients used to make it are salamander blood, and powdered Griffin claw. It may be related to the Strength Potion.... I think."

She stated. Wondering if she should just shut up and pay attention, she decided to keep quiet.

Justin nodded at the dark-haired girl.

"Very good. Now, we'll be making them today. All of you, pair up. The directions are on the board."

And with a wave of his wand the blackboard was suddenly adorned with white writing.

"Begin!"

Jeremy walked up to a blonde-haired girl he didn't know.

"Hey."

he said casually.

"Um, wanna be partners?"

"I-- sure."

Victoria answered coolly, regaining her composure and sticking out her hand.

"Victoria."

Riley self-conciously raised an eyebrow at the board.

Well... Here goes.. Everything? Ah... Don't be such a downer.

She reluctantly closed her notebook and looked around.

Maybe I should just work alone...

Logan walked uncertainly up to a dark-haired girl, and asked quietly,

"Aaron said he'd like to work alone....wanna be partners?"

Riley looked up questioningly, then froze.

"Uh... S-sure."

Man, Why do I do that..?

She tried to smile, but ended up just shyly glancing at his eyes.



Well... Strengthening solution... What have you got in store for me...?

Max finished adding a few pinches of something, making the potion hiss, and smiling proudly at Aaron.

"Do we drink it when we're done?"

she asked quizzically.

Riley looked at the Professor, Then at the Leise boy, then at The potion.

She sort of tried to hide behind her hair and confidently poured in the Salamander blood.
