Sitting on my own

Logan walked around the courtyard, wondering if he should go out into the gardens or not.

Maybe I'll see Riley...

He thought, feeling a bit embarrassed as he sat down under the shade of a tall tree, its leaves swaying.

Riley scuffed her boots along the gravel, Nikon Camera in hand.

She took a picture of a few of the flowers.

Morning glories and Tiger Lillies were her favorite, but anything would do.

She turned out of the garden and glanced up, only to see that one kid from Dark Arts.

The one Tyler had magically-messed up.

She started feeling warm inside, and slowly sat down on a bench.

She played it off coolly like her camera was just sitting there, but she snapped a picture.

A smile curled upon her lips as she looked at it, then feeling like a total stalker, she deleted it.

Victoria watched from behind a large hydrangea bush, smirking evilly, slightly, but surprised.

I never knew Riley stalked!

She took out her own Muggle camera, a light green one, waiting.

Logan heard a faint click, looking up and seeing Riley between the flowers.

"Oh.......hi."

he said, quieter than usual, a faint smile playing on his lips.

Riley stiffened, then tensed.

Caught Red-handed....

"Hey..." She said stepping out from her Fortress of Flowers.

Victoria almost giggled.

This was so fun!

She liked exposing people to awkward situations for some reason.

"Go on..."

Victoria muttered, deep in concentration.

"Sit down by him... Scoot a tiny bit closer..."

That makes most of us...

Aaron thought, staring through the leaves, trying not to grin.

Hey, Logan was a good friend of his why shouldn't he be spying?

Riley stood, back to the plants.

But she had that feeling. She couldn't help feeling... Watched.

She shivered slightly. The snapping of a stick in the distance made her jump.

But when she turned around it was just a little critter scampering around.


Huh... Way to ruin the moment. Wait, what moment? It was only Hi's and Hey's. She told herself, slowly rubbing her right arm.

Victoria held in a giggle.

So amusing...

Logan smiled quietly at Riley.

"So....what's up?"

"Uh, nothing really. You?"

She couldn't help but stare at his eyes, deep in thought.

Darren crept in uncertainly, whispering to a girl in the bushes with a lime-green camera,

"Uh.....what are we doing?"

Victoria just stared with her mouth wide open at the boy, then came back to Earth and shut it with a snap.

"Oh.......uh......spying!"

she said quickly.

"Okay..."

Darren replied quizzically, surveying the flustered girl.

"And who, exactly, are we spying on?"

"Ruh.....Riley."

Victoria said slowly, blinking.

"Huh? What?" Riley turned round and spread a bush open, seeing none other than Victoria, and that new Darren kid.

Furious she screamed, "YOU TWO!!" She grabbed them each at the ears and clanked their heads together.

"I oughta be--" She closed her eyes. "No..." she breathed, crossing her arms.

Victoria chirped indignantly, "Ow!"

Then she promptly kicked Riley in the shins, scurrying back into the flowers and dragging Darren with her.

Riley almost appeared steaming with anger, "Oh no ya don't Birmingham!"

She leapt into the bushes grabbing the girl and shaking her furiously.

She then grabbed Darren's ear and thudded his head against Victoria.

"You two have a nice long CHAT."
She screamed, getting up and brushing herself off.

Victoria shoved Darren away and whipped out her wand, pointing it at Riley's hair, muttering a spell and turning it bright orange, striped with pink.

"Dunkin' Donuts!" She shrieked before sprinting off.

Riley screamed in terror.
Pink. On her body.
She sprinted angrily after her with wand in hand.
"Expelliarmus!!"
Riley gave up and sat down.

And the worst part, Logan had been there to see it all happen.

Great job Riles, You blew it.
